Fall Performance Season Kicks-Off with 3 Spectacular Shows
Oct 20, 2026 | by Ildi Carlisle-Cummins
At PCS, the arts are at the center of our program so we all look forward to the kick-off of performance season in the fall. Last week was jam-packed with spectacular student instrumental music, choir and theater performances.
On Wednesday night, our new choir instructor, Mr. Ibarra led his first PCS concert and student performances were delightful.
This was followed by a charming Disney-themed instrumental music concert which was co-led by long-time music teacher Ms. Calame and a student teacher she is mentoring, Tanya Davidson.
On Friday night, the PCS community was treated to a 24-hour play-- an annual tradition here at PCS that speaks to our deep commitment to theater education under Mr. Wallraff. Students stayed in the drama room after school on Thursday through Friday to learn lines, shape scenes and produce a play all within 24 hours. The result was a brilliant-- and hilarious-- performance.
Thank you to our fabulous performing arts teachers, their talented and dedicated students and to the parent community for showing up in support of the arts at PCS!
