PCS Art Teacher Juan Martin shared exciting news this week:

"The Santa Cruz Art League has announced the winners of their Annual High School Student Show. I'm so excited to announce that our very own Stella Thelen (8th Grade) received FIRST place in the show. This is an ALL county show, so this is beyond outstanding!

Two other PCS students got a very special award known as the Susie Wilson Award, which is select by a professional artist to recognize students who show special promise in their area of expertise. These two students are Eva Pelletier (10th grade) for Poison Dart Frog (Colored Pencil) and Navia Tershy (9th Grade) for African Elephant (Graphite). So epic!"

The show will go on until May 10th, so make your way to the Art League this week to check out the work of all students that submitted pieces and be sure to attend the PCS Annual Art Show, which has its Opening Reception from 4-6 next Tuesday, May 13.
