PCS Freshmen Earn Title at U.S. Junior Olympic Sailing Regatta

Congratulations to PCS ninth graders Reuben Wax and Killian Kesting on their excellent performance last Sunday at the U.S. Junior Olympic Sailing Regatta!
The students sailed as part of the Santa Cruz Yacht Club, taking 8 out of 10 prizes in the regatta. According to Andreas Kesting, Killian's dad who also directs the Juniors Program at the club, conditions were great and the team was thrilled. Read more in the Santa Cruz Sentinel Article here.
Side note: The Sentinel article also includes a mention of PCS parent Rebecca Paten's first place finish in the Run By the Sea Half Marathon, which also took place over the weekend. Hurrah for PCS family athletes!
