MOCK TRIAL is an award-winning team of high school students dedicated to learning about the justice system through friendly competition with other schools. Working closely with a Faculty Advisor and Attorney Coaches, students develop an in-depth understanding of our judicial process as they study a hypothetical case, conduct legal research, and role play at the trial. Mock Trial is a partnership with the Constitutional Rights Foundation and the Santa Cruz legal community which emphasizes the development of students’ analytical and critical thinking skills. PCS Mock Trial won the county competition and progressed to state level competition in 2023 - and is determined to go even further in the future!
